****Message to all Compatriots from Commander Dan Williams****

Greetings:

Welcome all compatriots and NEC Brigade members. This is our Brigade Website.

As decided in September by the Brigade this Website will be of value to camps

and members in the Brigade. This will be a work in progress and will grow based

on member involvement. We hope to provide a venue for upcoming events not only in the

Brigade but Throughout the Confederation. Since the camps in the Brigade are usually

close to each other we encourage members to visit with the other camps and enjoy

their meetings and programs, and to participate and help with SCV activities with

all camps in their vicinity. This is a great opportunity to be active and stay close to home.

In addition to the good camaraderie you can be inspired to “Be all you can be in the SCV”.

This website will be a place to post newsworthy notes of interest to the

Brigade.  We will also be in a position to keep camps and members  abreast of what is

happening at the Division and International Headquarters level. In addition we

plan to identify and provide information about the SCV initiatives, programs,

reunions, and activities.

This Website can only be as good as the members wish it to be. In other words we

need your input. It is imperative that camps and members notify us of events and

things that can be placed here. Eventually we hope to have a member from each

camp to be a contact person for exchange of information. Further as more and more

members join the computer age it may be that we can have a venue to send updates

to members directly. We may wish to develop a cadre of “Keyboard Warriors”  to

address issues placed out in the electronic community.
